Bonelli earns NJAC Women’s Outdoor Track Athlete of the
Week honors for the second time this season after competing at the Lions’
own New Jersey Invitational in Ewing, NJ. She placed first in a field of
28 competitors in the 400 meters with an ECAC qualifying time of 57.73.
She also placed third in a field of 44 competitors in the 200 meters with
a time of 25.88. Bonelli’s performances helped spark the Lions to a second
place overall finish in the 16-team meet. |

Schappell earns NJAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of
the Week honors for the fourth consecutive week after competing at TCNJ’s
New Jersey Invitational in Ewing, NJ. She placed first in a field of 25
competitors in the discus with a winning throw of 41.75 meters. She also
placed first in a field of 19 competitors in the hammer throw with a
winning mark of 44.93 meters. Schappell’s performances helped the Ospreys
place third overall in the 16-team meet. |

Shepherd earns NJAC Outdoor Rookie of the Week honors
for the second consecutive week after competing at TCNJ’s New Jersey
Invitational in Ewing, NJ. She placed first in a field of nine competitors
in the high jump with a winning leap of 1.64 meters. She also placed 11th
in a field of 21 competitors in the javelin with a throw of 24.40 meters.
Shepherd also competed as a member the Ospreys’ 4x100 meter relay team
which placed fifth with a time of 54.81. |
