PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 3

Kristen Zimmerman, The College of New Jersey
Junior, Outfielder, Oakland, NJ/Indian Hills

Zimmerman earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after hitting .529 during the week for the Lions. In six games combined against Ursinus, Rutgers-Newark and Drew, she went 9-for-17 with two doubles, two stolen bases, five RBI and four runs scored. In the Lions' 11-0 NJAC-opening victory over Rutgers-Newark, she went 4-for-4 with a stolen base and three runs scored. She also produced multiple-hit games in TCNJ victories over Ursinus and Drew. Zimmerman, the current NJAC leader in hits with 26, also ranks sixth in the conference in hitting with a .448 batting average. The Lions, 12-5-1 overall, return to action on March 30 when they travel to face NJAC rival Rowan in a doubleheaders.   

PITCHER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 3

Sara Dickey, Rowan University
Junior, Pitcher, Skippack, PA/Perkiomen

Dickey earns NJAC Pitcher honors after going 2-0 during the week for the Profs. She opened the week with a complete-game three-hit shutout victory over Lebanon Valley. She wrapped up the week by recording a one-hit complete-game shutout victory over defending NJAC champion William Paterson. She struck out 13 in the two victories combined while limiting her opponents to just four hits. Dickey, 5-1 overall on the season, currently ranks second in the NJAC with a 0.30 earned run average. The Profs, 13-3 overall, return to action on March 30 when they host conference rival TCNJ in a doubleheader.

ROOKIE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 3

Autumn Millett, Rutgers University-Camden
Freshman, Outfielder, Richwood, NJ/Clearview Regional

Millett earns NJAC Rookie honors after hitting .500 in the first two NJAC contests of her career. In Camden's 11-0 and 8-0 victories over NJCU, she was a combined 3-for-6 with two home runs, four RBI and four runs scored. She has homered in three-of-her-last-four games while extending her hitting streak to five games. Millett currently leads the NJAC in runs scored with 17. The Scarlet Raptors, 13-1 overall, return to action on March 30 when they travel to face Richard Stockton in a doubleheader. 

ROOKIE PITCHER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 3

Jessica Kohut, The College of New Jersey
Freshman, Pitcher, Hillsdale, NJ/Pascack Valley

Kohut earns NAJC Rookie Pitcher honors after allowing just three earned runs in 13.1 innings of work during four appearances for the Lions on the week. After a seven-inning, three-hit shutout performance against Ursinus in which she did not fare in the decision, she posted a win over Drew by allowing just three runs and five hits in TCNJ's 7-4 victory over the Rangers. She also made two relief appearances during the week for the Lions while striking out a total of eight in the four appearances combined. Kohut currently ranks 11th in the NJAC with a 1.40 earned run average.
