PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 9

Athanasia Totaro, Montclair State University
Sophomore, Designated Player/Pitcher, Roseland, NJ/West Essex

Totaro earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after hitting .600 while leading the Red Hawks to their fifth consecutive ECAC Division III South Championship. In three victories combined, she was 6-for-10 with five RBI, three doubles and three runs scored. In a 2-0 victory over Ursinus, she pitched a shutout while driving in the winning run with an RBI double in the fifth inning. A first-team all-conference selection Totaro finished the season ranked 24th in the NJAC in hitting with a .313 batting average. 

PITCHER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 9

Michelle Schlichtig, Rutgers Camden-University
Sophomore, Pitcher, Barrington, NJ/Haddon Heights

Schlichtig earns NJAC Pitcher honors for the second consecutive week after producing a 0.60 earned run average in five games combined at the NCAA Salisbury Regional. In the Raptors' first four tournament games, she did not allow an earned run. She notched a combined 43 strikeouts in the five contests while walking just seven. After logging 35 innings of tournament work, she finished her season with a 23-8 record. Offensively, she also broke the Camden single-season record for hits with 52. The 2004 NJAC Player of the Year, Schlichtig finished the year ranked fourth among all NJAC pitchers with a 0.62 earned run average. 

ROOKIE PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 9

Autumn Millett, Rutgers Camden-University
Freshman, Outfielder, Richwood, NJ/Clearview

Millett earns NJAC Rookie honors for the second time this season after hitting .286 with a .571 slugging percentage during the NCAA Salisbury Regional. She opened NCAA play with a 2-for-2 performance with one RBI and two runs scored in Camden's 8-0 win over Mary Baldwin. Later in the day, she registered a game-winning three-run home run in the Raptors' 3-0 victory over King's. A first-team NJAC all-conference selection, Millett finished her rookie season ranked 29th in the NJAC in hitting with a .305 batting average.
