The 2004 NJAC Rookie of the
Year, Sisca earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after hitting .529 during
the Pioneers' first week of action at the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee,
FL. In a 10-1 week for Paterson, she totaled five doubles, two triples,
three home runs, 11 RBI and 13 runs scored. She hit safely in all 11 games
and scored and drove in at least one run in nine of the Pioneers' first 11
contests. On the final day of Paterson's trip, Sisca went 4-for-4 with a
solo home run and three runs scored in the Pioneers' 12-0 win over
Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts. |

Schlichtig
earns NJAC Pitcher honors for the second consecutive week after a
dominating week of action at Ft. Pierce, FL against Division II
competition. During her six starts of the Raptors' spring break trip, she
posted a 6-0 record while striking out 51 in 37.2 innings of work. She
also picked up a save in her only relief appearance of the week and
finished the trip with a 0.56 earned run average after surrendering just
three earned runs in five contests against Division II opponents. She
ended her trip with 13.1 consecutive no-hit innings, including a complete
game no-hitter against Division II Molloy. Offensively, Schlichtig posted
a .500 batting average on the trip with three doubles, a triple, four home
runs and 17 RBI. |

earns NJAC Rookie honors after hitting .588 during the Raptors' spring
break trip to Ft. Pierce, FL which featured six contests against Division
II competition. After starting her collegiate career by going 0-for-10,
she has since hit at a .625 clip. For the week, she scored nine runs in
eight games, and was 3-for-3 on stolen base attempts. Defensively, Feriod
handled 10 chances at both second base and in outfield for the Raptors on
their trip without committing an error. |

Schraer won
the first three starts of her career for the Pioneers during their spring
break trip to Kissimmee, FL. During her first collegiate week of
competition, she posted a two-hit shutout victory in Paterson's 4-0
victory over Wisconsin-Lacrosse. In a previous meeting with UW-Lacrosse
earlier in the week, she took a no-hitter into the seventh inning before
surrendering four hits in the Pioneers' 5-2 victory. Schraer wrapped up
her first collegiate week with 11 strikeouts in 22 innings of work and a
1.27 earned run average. |
