Ferranti earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after
hitting .600 with four extra-base hits, 10 RBI, and 12 runs scored in a
6-0 week for the Red Hawks. She hit safely in all six games and produced
three multiple-hit contests. She first went a combined 4-for-5 with two
doubles, two RBI, and five runs scored in a 7-0 and 13-2 NJAC doubleheader
road sweep at Rutgers-Newark. She then went a combined 2-for-4 with a home
run, four RBI, and three runs scored in a 5-0 and 8-5 non-conference sweep
of Hunter. She wrapped up the week by going a combined 3-for-6 with four
RBI and four runs scored in MSU’s 9-0 and 7-0 NJAC road sweep at
Rutgers-Camden. Ferranti currently leads the NJAC in slugging percentage
(.844), runs scored (32), RBI (21), and walks (21). |

McCrea earns NJAC Pitcher of the Week honors after
going 3-0 with a save while not allowing a run in 20.0 innings of work
during four appearances for the Red Hawks. She opened the week by
scattering six hits while striking out six in a 7-0 NJAC road win at
Rutgers-Newark. She then allowed just three hits in six innings while
striking out 10 in a 5-0 game one non-conference win over Hunter. She then
earned her third save of the season by pitching two scoreless innings of
relief in an 8-5 game two win over Hunter. She wrapped up the week by
registering her second no-hitter of the season and her 25th career shutout
after surrendering just one walk while striking out six in a 9-0 NJAC road
win at Rutgers-Camden. McCrea currently leads the NJAC in saves (3). |

Accardi earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after
hitting .611 (11-for-18) with two doubles, two triples, eight RBI, and six
runs scored in a 4-2 week for the Ospreys. She opened the week by going a
combined 3-for-5 with a double, a triple, a stolen base, four RBI, and
three runs scored in Stockton’s 10-0 and 16-0 non-conference sweep of John
Jay. She then went a combined 4-for-5 with a double, a triple, four RBI,
and three runs scored in the Ospreys’ 4-0 and 15-2 NJAC sweep of
Rutgers-Newark. She wrapped up the week by going a combined 3-for-6 with a
walk in a NJAC road doubleheader at TCNJ. Accardi currently is tied for
the NJAC lead in RBI (21). |

Sietsma earns NJAC Rookie Pitcher of the Week honors
for the second time this season after going 1-0 with a 0.00 earned run
average in two games pitched for the Lions on the week. She first allowed
just one hit and one walk while striking out three in five innings during
an 8-0 non-conference road win at Haverford. She wrapped up the week by
scattering five hits while striking out three in 3.1 innings of work
before leaving the game after getting hit with a line drive in TCNJ’s 7-0
game two shutout of Richard Stockton. Sietsma currently ranks tied for
ninth in the NJAC in strikeouts (39). |
