Verduin earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the second consecutive week after leading the Ospreys to the championship of the six-team Osprey Classic. She was selected as the Most Valuable Player of the tournament by the six participating head coaches after posting 20-kill and 20-dig totals in victories over Widener and Catholic. In a 4-0 week for the Ospreys, she tallied combined totals of 78 kills, 61 digs and nine aces. Verduin currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in kills with an average of 4.69 per game.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK  

Julie Grochowski, Rutgers-Camden
Freshman, Outside Hitter
Williamstown, NJ/Williamstown

Grochowski earns NJAC Rookie honors for the first time in her career after leading the Scarlet Raptors in kills, digs, blocks and aces during the week. In matches against Rowan, Neumann and Immaculata, she produced combined statistical totals of 31 kills, 41 digs, eight solo blocks and five aces. Grochowski currently ranks sixth in the NJAC in kills with an average of 3.33 per game.
