Aciz becomes the first Red
Hawk to earn NJAC Volleyball Player of the Week honors after helping propel Montclair to a 3-1 week. She opened the week by
collecting 16 kills and 12 digs in MSU's 3-1 win over Kean. The victory
marked the first Red Hawk win over the Cougars since 1998. She wrapped up
the week by tallying combined totals of 32 kills, 23 digs and eight aces
in non-conference matches against New Jersey City, SUNY Purchase and John
Jay. Aciz currently ranks fifth in the NJAC in hitting percentage with a
mark of .254. |

Grochowski
earns NJAC Rookie honors for the second consecutive week after posting
totals of 45 kills, 66 digs, eight blocks and four aces during the week
for the Scarlet Raptors. In
Camden's NJAC-opener against Ramapo, she registered 10 kills, 11 digs and
three solo blocks. She wrapped up the week by tallying 25 kills and 55
digs in non-conference competition against Staten Island, St. Elizabeth
and St. Joseph's-Patchogue. Grochowski currently ranks fourth in the NJAC
in kills with an average of 3.29 per game. |
