Shears earns NJAC Player honors for the second time this season after collecting 90 kills, six aces, 63 digs and six solo blocks in a 4-1 week for the Pioneers. She averaged 5.0 kills and 3.5 digs per game while posting a .431 attack percentage during the week for William Paterson. In NJCU's Gothic Knight Invitational, she notched a career-high 32 kills against FDU-Florham as the Pioneers placed third on the day with victories over Medgar Evers, St. Elizabeth and Mt. St. Mary. Shears currently leads the NJAC and ranks fourth in all of NCAA Division III in kills with an average of 5.05 per game.

Carberry becomes the first Prof to earn NJAC Rookie honors in 2004 after tallying 34 kills and 17 digs during a 4-0 week for Rowan. She opened the week by notching eight kills and six digs in the Profs' 3-1 NJAC road win at Montclair State. She wrapped up a week by tallying respective kill totals of nine, six and 11 in Rowan victories over Wheaton (IL), Ursinus and Washington College (MD). On the week, Carberry posted a .403 hitting percentage for the Profs.
