Verduin earns NJAC Player honors for the third time this season after tallying 57 kills and 25 digs while hitting .393 in a 3-0 week for Stockton. She opened the week by notching 18 kills and seven digs in the Ospreys' 3-0 win over Montclair State to clinch the second seed and a first-round bye in the 2004 NJAC Volleyball Championship Tournament. She then tallied 24 kills and six digs in a 3-1 victory over the University of Sciences, before wrapping up the week with a 15-kill, 12-dig performance in a 3-0 win over Immaculata. Stockton will host the winner of the Rutgers-Newark vs. Montclair State match in the semifinals of the NJAC Tournament on November 4. Verduin currently ranks second in the NJAC in kills with an average of 4.87 per game.

Becker earns NJAC Rookie honors for the fourth time this season after helping clinch the third seed in the 2004 NJAC Volleyball Championship Tournament for the Scarlet Raiders. She tallied a double-double 16 kills and 15 digs in a 3-0 win over William Paterson to lock up the third seed for Newark. The Scarlet Raiders will host sixth-seeded Montclair State in the first round of the tournament on November 2, with the winner advancing to face second-seed Richard Stockton on November 4. Becker currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in kills with an average of 3.43 per game.
