The 2004 NJAC Player of the Year, Verduin earns her fourth NJAC Player of the Week selection this season after tallying 30 kills and 22 digs in two ECAC South Tournament matches. The sixth-seeded Ospreys posted a 3-0 first round win over third-seeded FDU-Florham, before falling to second-seeded Lebanon Valley in the semifinals, 3-0. She averaged 5.0 kills and 3.7 digs per game in the two tournament matches for the Ospreys who concluded their season with an overall record of 25-9. Verduin finished the season ranked second in the NJAC in kills with an average of 4.82 per game.  

Ashley Carberry, Rowan University

Carberry earns NJAC Rookie honors for the third time this season and the second consecutive week after notching a combined 19 kills and eight digs in Rowan's two NCAA Tournament matches. In the Profs' 3-2 opening round win over Stevens, she recorded 16 kills and posted a .382 hitting percentage. She wrapped up her freshman campaign by notching three kills and one block assist in Rowan's 3-0 NCAA Tournament second round defeat to New York University. As champions of the NJAC, Carberry and the Profs finished their season with an overall record of 28-4.
