O’Donnell earns the first NJAC Player of the Week honor
after averaging 4.25 kills and 3.75 digs per game in the first two matches
of the season for the Ospreys. She opened her junior season by recording
11 kills, eight digs, and two blocks in Stockton’s 3-0 loss to York (PA)
at the Mizuno Tournament hosted by McDaniel. She wrapped up the tournament
by tallying a double-double 23 kills and 22 digs while adding two blocks
in a 3-2 loss to host McDaniel. O’Donnell posted match-high kill totals in
each of the first two matches of the season for Stockton. |

Johanesen earns the first NJAC Rookie of the Week
selection after averaging 11.43 assists per game in a 3-0 opening week of
play for NJCU at the NJAC-Skyline Crossover hosted by Ramapo. In the first
match of her collegiate career, she tallied 30 assists and three digs in
the Gothic Knights’ 3-0 win over Farmingdale State. She then collected 24
assists and three service aces in a 3-0 win over St. Joseph’s-Patchogue,
before wrapping up the day with 26 assists and five aces in a 3-0 victory
over SUNY Old Westbury. Johanesen was a major contributor to an NJCU
offense which hit .276 in the three matches combined. |
