PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 1

Jaime McCormack, Rowan University
Sophomore, Guard, Trenton, NJ/Hamilton West

McCormack earns the first NJAC Player of the Week honors of the season after averaging 17.0 points in Rowan's two season-opening victories in the Holiday Inn Invitational. She opened the season by tallying 16 points in the Profs' 67-56 first round victory over Dickinson. She wrapped up the tournament by posting 18 points, five rebounds and four assists as Rowan clinched the tournament championship with an 88-55 title game victory over Eastern. McCormack was named the Holiday Inn Invitational Most Valuable Player for her performance in the two-day tournament.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - WEEK 1

Stephanie Machin, Montclair State University
Freshman, Center, New Providence, NJ/New Providence

A key newcomer for the Red Hawks, Machin earns NJAC Rookie honors after averaging 17.5 points and 9.5 rebounds in Montclair's two season-opening wins in the MSU Tip-Off Tournament. In her first collegiate game, she tallied 18 points and 12 rebounds as the Red Hawks topped Manhattanville, 84-62. She wrapped up the tournament by collecting 17 points and seven rebounds as Montclair State clinched the tournament championship with a 77-73 title game win over Tufts. Machin was named the MSU Tip-Off Most Valuable Player after shooting 60.9 percent from the floor in the two victories.
