PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 2

Ebony Allen, Montclair State University
Sophomore, Forward, Camden, NJ/Woodrow Wilson

The 2002-03 NJAC Rookie of the Year, Allen earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after being named the Most Valuable Player of the Gallaudet Tournament. In first round action against the host Bison, she tallied six points and five rebounds in only 18 minutes of action as the Red Hawks earned a 105-60 victory. In the tournament championship game, she recorded a game-high 22 points, along with seven rebounds as MSU captured the title with a 75-54 win over Southwestern. Allen currently is tied for fourth in the NJAC in scoring with an average of 16.0 points per game.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - WEEK 2

Megan Hueter, The College of New Jersey
Freshman, Guard, Haddon Heights, NJ/Haddon Heights

Hueter earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after playing a key role in TCNJ's conference-opening victory over Richard Stockton. With just 26 seconds remaining in regulation, she hit the game-winning three-pointer to earn the Lions a 74-72 victory. She also secured the win on the defensive end of the floor by blocking a potential Stockton game-winning shot at the buzzer. For the game, Hueter finished with 13 points, 10 of which came in the second half.
