PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 3

Kellie Rice, Kean University
Senior, Guard, Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro

Rice earns NJAC Player of the Week honors after averaging 27.5 points, 5.0 steals and 4.5 assists per game in a 1-1 week for the Cougars. She opened the week by netting 27 points on 11-of-16 shooting in only 25 minutes of action of Kean's 100-34 non-conference victory over John Jay. She wrapped up the week with a season-high 28 points, six assists and a game-high five steals as the Cougars fell to Montclair State in their NJAC opener, 84-81. Rice currently leads the NJAC in scoring with an average of 19.0 points per game.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - WEEK 3

Latrese McNair, New Jersey City University
Sophomore, Guard, Elizabeth, NJ/Elizabeth

McNair earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after averaging 9.0 points and 2.5 steals per game in a 1-1 week for the Gothic Knights. She opened the week by tallying nine points and three assists in NJCU's 78-57 non-conference victory over St. Elizabeth. She wrapped up the week by registering nine points and three steals in the Gothic Knights' 74-59 NJAC loss to Rutgers-Camden. McNair currently is NJCU's second leading scorer with an average of 7.2 points per game.
