PLAYER OF THE WEEK - WEEK 5

Kellie Rice, Kean University
Senior, Guard, Willingboro, NJ/Willingboro

Rice earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after averaging 19.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists in a 2-0 week for the Cougars. She opened the week by tallying 21 points, six rebounds, four assists and two steals in Kean's 78-65 victory over Mt. St. Mary. She wrapped up the week by posting a team-high 17 points, seven rebounds and four assists in the Cougars' 79-57 road victory at Staten Island. With 1,049 career points, Rice recently became the 12th 1,000-point scorer in Kean history. She currently leads the NJAC in scoring with an average of 19.6 points per game.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK - WEEK 5

Lucila Custis, William Paterson University
Freshman, Guard, Roselle, NJ/Abraham Clark

Custis earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the second consecutive week after tallying a career-high 20 points in William Paterson's 83-45 non-conference victory over Wilkes. In the win, she shot 9-of-14 from the field and collected nine rebounds, one assist and one steal in just 26 minutes of action. Custis currently ranks tied for sixth in the NJAC in steals with an average of 2.71 per game.
