Finke earns the first NJAC
Women's Basketball Player of the Week selection after averaging 15.0
points and 7.0 rebounds en route to being selected to the All-Tournament
Team in the Rowan Tip-off Tournament. She opened the season with 11
points, seven rebounds and two blocks in the Profs' 72-48 win over St.
Mary's. One night later, she added 16.5 points, seven rebounds and two
blocks in Rowan's 92-74 tournament championship win over Trinity (CT). In
the championship game, she became the 14th player in the history of the
Rowan program to eclipse the 1,000 career scoring mark. In the two games
combined, Finke shot 62 percent from the field. |

Rainey earns the first NJAC Rookie of the Week honor after
averaging 15.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game during three contests at
the Marymount Tip-off Tournament. She first tallied 15 points and seven
rebounds in the Ospreys' 64-58 season-opening win over Marymount. One day
later, she tallied 12 points and four rebounds in Stockton's 64-59 defeat
to Alverina. Playing in her third game in three days, she posted a
double-double 18 points and 10 rebounds in an 80-63 victory over
Salisbury. Rainey was named to the Marymount All-Tournament Team after
shooting 54 percent from the field in the three contests.
