Shields becomes the second different Lion to earn NJAC Player of the Week honors after helping to lead TCNJ to two victories at the Grand Canyon Trip Sports Classic in Phoenix, AZ. She first tallied 10 points, four assists and four steals in the Lions' 57-54 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. She wrapped up the trip by notching 12 points, four rebounds and two assists in TCNJ's 64-54 win over George Fox. With the two wins, the Lions extended their current winning streak to six games. Shields currently ranks ninth in the NJAC in three-point field goals made per game with an average of 1.22.
