Klimowicz earns her second NJAC Player of the Week
selection after registering a double-double in the Lions only contest of
the week. In an 81-73 non-conference road loss at undefeated Marymount
(VA), she notched 19 points and 10 rebounds. She shot .533 from the field
(8-of-15) while adding two blocks, one assist, and one steal. Klimowicz
currently ranks third in the NJAC in both scoring (15.7 points per game)
and rebounding (10.9 boards per game), while leading the league in blocked
shots (4.33 per game). |

Powell earns NJAC Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Week
honors after helping to spark the Cougars to an 89-26 non-conference road
win at Hunter. She came off the bench and produced a game-high 19 points
on 6-of-8 shooting from the field in just 16 minutes of action. She also
registered three assists, four steals, and one rebound in the victory in
which she shot 4-of-5 from three-point range. Powell currently ranks
seventh in the NJAC in three-point field goals made per game (1.43). |
