Cooper becomes the second different Cougar to earn NJAC
Player of the Week honors after posting a double-double in Kean’s 82-65
non-conference road victory at Scranton. In the win, she posted totals of
11 points and a season-high 27 rebounds. She single-handily out-rebounded
the entire Scranton team which collected 26 boards in the game. Of her 27
rebounds, 12 came on the offensive end and 19 were collected in the first
half. The 27 rebounds marked the most of any NJAC player in a game this
season, and the highest single-game total since January 28, 2006 when she
collected 28 boards in a win at NJCU. Cooper currently leads the NJAC in
both rebounding (15.8 per game) and steals (3.75 per game). |

Patrick becomes the second different Cougar to earn
NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after playing a key role in the Cougars’
82-65 non-conference road victory at Scranton. In just the third start of
her career, she notched 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting from the field, while
adding eight rebounds in the win which gave Scranton back-to-back losses
at home for the first time since 1995. Patrick, who was one of five
players in double-figures for Kean in the contest, currently is averaging
10.3 points per game in four games played for the Cougars on the season. |
