Hillary Klimowicz, The College of New Jersey Junior, Center Scotch Plains, NJ/Scotch Plains-Fanwood
Klimowicz earns NJAC Player of the Week honors for the seventh time this season after averaging a double-double 23.5 points and 13.0 rebounds in two NJAC Tournament contests. She opened the week with 19 points on 9-of-13 shooting, while adding nine rebounds and two blocks in a 74-52 semifinal win over Montclair State. She wrapped up the week with career highs of 28 points and 17 rebounds in a 70-61 championship game loss to Kean. The NJAC Player of the Year, she shot 12-of-19 from the field in the title game while adding five blocks. Klimowicz, who led her team to an at-large selection in the NCAA Tournament, currently leads the NJAC in both field goal percentage (.651) and blocks (4.07 per game).
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Tiffany Patrick, Kean University Freshman, Forward Piscataway, NJ/Piscataway
Patrick earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the sixth time this season after averaging 9.3 points and 13.0 rebounds per game in Kean’s three-game run to the NJAC Tournament Championship. She opened the week with 12 points, six rebounds, three blocks, and three steals in an opening round 73-44 win over Rutgers-Newark. She then notched six points and a career-high 19 rebounds in a 73-45 semifinal road win at William Paterson. She wrapped up the week with 10 points and 14 rebounds for her first career double-double in a 70-61 Championship Game win over TCNJ which clinched a second straight NJAC crown for the Cougars. As champions of the NJAC, Kean was selected to host a first round NCAA Tournament game. Patrick currently ranks third in the NJAC in field goal percentage (.517).
