OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Brittny Boyd, The College of New Jersey
Junior, Forward
Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown

Boyd becomes the first Lion to earn NJAC Offensive honors after tallying two goals and one assist for five total points in TCNJ's 5-0 victory over Rowan in the semifinals of the NJAC Tournament. Despite a 0-0 draw with Montclair State in the Championship Match, TCNJ earned an at-large bid to the 2004 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament. The Lions will face either Gettysburg or Chestnut Hill in the NCAA second round on November 13. Boyd currently ranks fourth in the NJAC in both points (33) and goals (14). 

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Kristen Kuhmann, Montclair State University
Sophomore, Goalkeeper
Beachwood, NJ/Toms River South

Kuhmann earns NJAC Defensive honors for the second time this season after propelling the Red Hawks to their first NJAC Championship in school history. In MSU's 0-0 semifinal draw with Richard Stockton, she made seven saves in 110 minutes and stopped two Osprey penalty kicks as the Red Hawks advanced 7-6 on penalties. In MSU's 0-0 Championship Match draw with TCNJ, she collected 14 saves in 110 minutes and stopped two Lion penalty kicks as the Red Hawks clinched the NJAC crown, 3-1 on penalties. As the NJAC's NCAA Tournament automatic qualifier, the Red Hawks will host Bay Path in a first round match on November 10. Kuhmann currently ranks second in the NJAC with a 0.76 goals against average.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK  

Courtney Krol, The College of New Jersey

Howell, NJ/Howell

Krol becomes the second different Lion to earn NJAC Rookie honors after tallying two assists, including the game winner, in TCNJ's 5-0 NJAC Tournament semifinal win over Rowan. Krol is part of a Lion defensive unit that currently ranks first in the NJAC in both fewest goals allowed (0.30 per game) and team goals against average (0.29).
