Amanda Kurdyla, William Paterson University

Denville, NJ/Morris Knolls

Kurdyla earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after tallying 11 points in a pair of victories during the week for the Pioneers. She opened the week by netting three goals for six points in Paterson’s 4-1 non-conference win over St. Joseph’s-Patchogue. She then opened conference play by notching two goals, including the game-winner, while adding an assist for five total points in the Pioneers’ 4-1 NJAC road win at NJCU. Kurdyla currently ranks second in the NJAC in both points per game (3.40) and goals per game (1.60).

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Courtney Krol, The College of New Jersey
Senior, Back
Howell, NJ/Howell

Krol earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors after contributing to the Lions’ 5-0 conference-opening victory over Ramapo. Defensively, she was part of a unit that limited the Roadrunners to just three shots on goal in the win. Offensively, she registered her first goal of the season off of a direct kick in the 80th minute. A two-time NJAC Defensive Player of the Year selection, Krol is a key cog in TCNJ’s defensive unit that leads the NJAC in fewest goals allowed per game (0.20) and has not surrendered a score in its last 445 minutes of game action.
