Kunkel becomes the second different Lion to earn NJAC
Offensive Player of the Week honors after tallying 10 points in a 3-0 week
for TCNJ. She opened the week by registering a goal and an assist for
three points in a 6-0 non-conference win over Gwynedd-Mercy. Two days
later, she tallied a goal in a 2-0 NJAC road win at Rutgers-Camden. She
wrapped up the week by netting two goals, including the game-winner, while
adding an assist for five total points in TCNJ’s 8-0 NJAC victory over
Rutgers-Newark. Kunkel, who has scored a goal in four straight matches,
currently ranks tied for third in the NJAC in total points (23). |

Groszew earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors
for the second time this season after leading the Cougars to a pair of
NJAC overtime shutouts. She opened the week by collecting three saves in
109 minutes of action during Kean’s 1-0 overtime win over NJCU. She
wrapped up the week by notching 12 saves in a 110 minutes of action during
the Cougars’ scoreless double-overtime draw with Ramapo. Groszew currently
ranks third in the NJAC in goals against average (0.82). |

Scillieri earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after
notching four points in a 2-0 week of NJAC play for the Red Hawks. She
first netted a goal in the 19th minute of Montclair’s 4-1 NJAC road win at
Rutgers-Newark. She wrapped up the week by tallying a goal in the Red
Hawks’ 4-0 conference victory over Rutgers-Camden. In 10 matches played
for MSU on the season, Scillieri has notched four points and two assists
for 10 points. |
