OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Amanda Kurdyla, William Paterson University
Junior, Forward

Kurdyla earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after registering 15 points in a 2-1 week of action for the Pioneers. She opened the week by notching four goals and one assist for nine points in Paterson’s 8-0 non-conference road win at Staten Island. After not scoring a loss to TCNJ, she wrapped up the week by registering three goals in a 3-0 NJAC win over Rutgers-Newark. In the Newark win, she established new WPU single-season records for goals (17) and game-winning goals (7). Kurdyla currently ranks third in the NJAC in both points (38) and goals (18).

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Courtney Krol, The College of New Jersey

Krol earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after contributing both offensively and defensively in a pair of Lions’ NJAC victories. She first registered a goal while anchoring a defense that held William Paterson without a shot in a 3-0 NJAC road win over the Pioneers. She wrapped up the week by notching a goal and an assist for three points while leading a defensive unit that held NJCU to just one shot on goal in a 10-0 NJAC win over the Gothic Knights. The two-time reigning NJAC Defensive Player of the Year, Krol is a key cog in a TCNJ defense that has recorded 12 shutouts in 15 matches played on the season.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Carrocino earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season after tallying nine points in a pair of conference victories for the Profs. She first netted three goals and one assist for seven points in Rowan’s 6-2 NJAC road win at NJCU. She wrapped up the week by registering the game-winning goal in the Profs’ 2-0 NJAC victory over Kean. Carrocino currently leads the NJAC in both points (3.19) and goals (1.44) per game.
