OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK  

Natalia Sisti, Montclair State University
Sophomore, Forward

Sisti earns NJAC Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after sparking the fourth-seeded Red Hawks to a 3-2 come-from-behind victory over fifth-seeded Kean in the first round of the 2007 NJAC Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament. Trailing 2-0 late in the match, she scored Montclair’s first goal in the 71st minute to the cut the deficit to a goal. After the Red Hawks tied the game with just 2:44 remaining in regulation, she netted the game winning goal with just 33 seconds left to propel MSU to a second-round match-up with top-seeded TCNJ on October 30. Sisti currently ranks fifth in the NJAC in points with 28 on the season.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Rogers earns NJAC Defensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season after leading the Ospreys to a pair of shutout victories during the week. She first notched six saves in 72 minutes of Stockton’s 6-0 NJAC road win at Rutgers-Newark which clinched the third-seed in the 2007 NJAC Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament for the Ospreys. Three days later, she collected two saves in the Ospreys’ 2-0 first round tournament win over sixth-seeded Rutgers-Camden which advanced Stockton to a semifinal match-up with second-seeded Rowan on October 30. Rogers currently ranks second in the NJAC in goals against average with a mark of 0.67.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK

Altman earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after playing a key role in the Ospreys’ 6-0 NJAC road win at Rutgers-Newark in their regular season finale. In the victory, she recorded three goals for her second hat trick of the season. Two of her three scores came just 38 seconds apart as the Ospreys’ locked up the third-seed in the 2007 NJAC Women’s Soccer Championship Tournament with the win. Altman currently ranks fifth in the NJAC in goals with 12 on the season.
