Williams becomes the second different Osprey to earn
NJAC Player of the Week honors after winning a pair of singles and doubles
matches in a 2-0 week for Richard Stockton. She first tallied a 6-1, 6-0
win at third singles and teamed with Jessica Victor for an 8-3 pro-set win
at second doubles in a 7-2 non-conference victory over Goucher. Three days
later, she posted a 6-1, 6-2 win at third singles and teamed with Victor
for an 8-2 pro-set win at second doubles in a 6-1 rain-shortened NJAC road
victory at Rutgers-Newark. Williams has posted a 6-2 record in dual match
singles and a 7-1 record in dual match doubles play on the season. |

Berg earns NJAC Rookie of the Week honors for the
second consecutive week after producing a pair of wins in the Lions’ 8-0
NJAC road win at Kean which extended their conference winning-streak to
119 consecutive matches. In the win, she posted a 6-0, 6-1 victory at
second singles and teamed with Lindsay Katzel for an 8-1 win at second
doubles. Berg has produced a 3-0 record in dual match singles and a 3-0
record in dual match doubles play on the season. |
