Guerriero earns NJAC Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week honors for the third consecutive week after competing at the Brooks Paul Short Invitational hosted by Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA. In a meet featuring some of the top teams in the nation including Princeton and Villanova, he placed 46th in a field of 268 total competitors on the 8K course with a time of 25:09. Guerriero’s performance sparked the Lions to an 18th place finish in the 41-team meet consisting of top teams from NCAA Divisions I, II and III.

Akhtar earns NJAC Men’s Cross Country Rookie of the Week honors for the third time this season after competing in Stockton’s own Osprey Open in Pomona, NJ. He defeated a field of 43 total competitors to win the individual championship on the 6K course with a time of 19:46. Akhtar, who won the second race of his career, led Stockton to a first-place team finish in the six-team meet.
