| The College of New Jersey Juniors Julie Corbett and Eamon O'Brien head the Fall 2000 NJAC women's and men's cross country teams. Both received Runner of the Year honors as the top finishers in the NJAC championship meet held on October 28. James McCusker of Ramapo College is the Men's Coach of the Year and Steve Dolan of The College of New Jersey is the Women's Coach of the Year. NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP MEET |
| The College of New Jersey placed 11th among women's teams and 19th among the men's teams competing in the NCAA Championship meets November 18. TCNJ's Karen Petouvis was the high finisher for the Lions, taking 28th place in 18:58, while Eamon O'Brien earned All-American honors by finishing 26th in a time of 25:41. Rowan University's John Garton came in 105th overall in a time of 26:27. |

The College of New Jersey Lions captured both the men's and women's titles at the New Jersey Athletic Conference's Cross Country Championships held Oct. 28 at Washington Crossing State Park in Titusville, NJ. It was the 7th straight NJAC title for the men (13th overall) and the 6th consecutive crown for the women (17th overall). |
